29th – Off the Ferry and just a short ride to Sydney to SHOWER , I so need it I stink

We arrived in at 7.30am and I only had around 20kms to get across the bay to Sydney. I had booked a hotel here as I had to wash everything and especially my body, I stink so much . I said good bye to a couple from Belgium and headed off.  this is where I slept last night in the ferry.

Day 21 Day 22

Day 23 Day 24

Along the way I found a Co Op country store and dropped in as I had a plan to make something for my Minion to ride on. Heidi and her friend helped me with the bits I needed and Then after a stop at the Dollar shop and Walmart for some fruit I found the hotel and jumped straight in the shower for way to long.

I did my washing and repacked my stuff and chilled right out. Then I got to work on building my Minion Bike. I posted a smaller one that I had seen a while back and Id been thinking of it the whole time, not being abe to find one I thought ill just make one .I love making things.  What do you think? pretty cool aye.Minion driving with his mate co pilot checking the rear. Im hoping the wheels will spin in the wind,  Already got a few kids looking my way which the whole plan for it, Its 4 the kids remember haha.

  1. Hey Jup!! I just heard about you on the CBC!! You drove right past my place at Barrachois on 17 July, and if I knew you were coming, I could have been out to greet you along the way! Suggestions:
1: If you posted your route on your Blog for each day, people would know when you were coming, and could give you greater support.
2: If you did interviews by phone with media 100-200 miles ahead of you, people there would know of your coming beforehand, and could give you more support along the way.
3: On your website, the text blocks out the route of your cross Canada route… can’t see where you are going.

I really like your “100 Mile Challenge”! It is a great way to get thumb twiddling kids off their sugar laden asses!! 🙂

Best wishes for your safety, and your every success!

    Kevin

    • Hi Kevin,
thanks so much for all your ideas, Yes to all of them, Im a bit behind getting things updated but will try harder as like you say need people to know where I am everyday.
If you are keen lets try to get a school or 5 doing the 100 Mile club going in Canada. let me know if you know of some in your area that might be keen.
thanks again , have a great weekend.
      Jup
